What the care plan covers

Everything a small business website needs to keep working, without you having to think about it.

Hosting on EU servers

Your site runs on servers in Germany that I manage myself. Fast static pages, HTTPS, no shared-hosting lottery.

Security updates

Server patching, certificate renewals and security headers handled for you. No plugins to update, because there are no plugins.

Email on your domain

you@yourbusiness.ie instead of a Gmail address, set up and kept running.

Domain renewals

I track the renewal date and pay it, so your site and email never go dark because a card expired.

Updates when things change

New term dates, prices, venues or opening hours. Send them over and they go live. Up to an hour of changes a month is included.

Google and maps details

Addresses, Eircodes and map links checked against the real venues, plus the behind-the-scenes business details Google reads.

Privacy that is actually true

No cookies, no trackers, no visitor logs unless you need them, and a privacy policy that matches what the server really does.

Nightly backups

Your site is backed up every night to a separate machine, so a bad day is an inconvenience, not a disaster.

I rebuild your existing site as a fast static site, keep your old links working and move your email. The price depends on how much there is to move. You get a fixed quote first.

Care plan

€45 per month

Hosting, security updates, email on your domain, domain renewal, backups and up to an hour of changes every month.

Extra work

€50 per hour

New pages, bigger changes or anything urgent beyond the monthly hour. Quoted up front, billed in half hours.

Power Soccer School of Excellence

A kids’ soccer school running weekly classes and camps at venues across County Galway. Their old WordPress site was heavy, broken in places and hard to keep current.

What I did

Moved from WordPress to a fast static site, with old Google links redirected to the right new pages
Checked every venue Eircode and map link against the real locations, and fixed a wrong one Google had picked up
Class and term details kept in step with the booking system, with a booking button for every venue
Business details for Google added behind the scenes, so search shows the right name, hours and booking link
No cookies, no trackers and no visitor logs, with a privacy policy that says exactly that

Who's behind it

Sunturtle is me, John Dundas. I run my own servers in Germany and look after every site on them myself. When you get in touch, you get the person who does the work, not a ticket queue. If a €50 fix is all you need, that's what I'll tell you.

Fast, private utilities for developers and makers — JSON formatter, UUID and hash generator, regex tester, Base64/URL encoder and JWT decoder. Everything runs in your browser: nothing is uploaded, and shareable links keep your data in the URL fragment, where the server never sees it.
